This Privacy Policy explains how Homework Tracker processes information when you use Homework Tracker for Kids. This product draft must be reviewed and completed before production launch.
Information We Collect
Parent account information includes the Google account subject identifier and email address received through Google OAuth. We do not intentionally store your Google password, Google access token, display name, or profile photo. The parent workspace may contain child nickname and avatar emoji, tasks, subjects, descriptions, due dates, points, completion history, streaks, and related status information. Please do not enter a child’s real name, date of birth, school, email address, precise location, government ID, photograph, medical information, or assignment files/answers.
Children and Parent Control
The Service is primarily for parents and guardians. A parent or legal guardian controls the limited child area; the Service creates an internal, non-public workspace and a default child profile automatically after Google sign-in. The child area uses a parent-controlled access link and shared PIN. It does not provide independent registration.
Analytics and Session Recording
Optional analytics are not required for core functionality and should be off until the user gives the required consent. Google Analytics 4 is planned for public and parent-facing pages only. Microsoft Clarity is planned only for approved authenticated parent pages after consent. The child area does not load analytics, advertising scripts, session recording, or heatmaps.
Sharing and Service Providers
Infrastructure is planned to use Cloudflare Pages/Workers, D1, R2, logs, Google OAuth, PayPal, and optional analytics. The final provider configuration and international transfer details must be confirmed before production launch.
Retention and Deletion
Parents can delete an individual child or the entire account, including the internal workspace, through account settings. Account deletion is intended to be irreversible. For privacy assistance, contact privacy@homework-kid.online.
Security and Rights
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the Service, including server-side authorization, secure sessions, hashed PIN storage, access-token revocation, rate limiting, and protection of secrets. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain information.
